figures, masks objects and images...

...are shaped out of various materials, using
mixed techniques.
I experiment a lot with paper, fabrics, clay, wax,
colour, photography and combinations of the
former.
After 35 years of doing puppetshows in
The Netherlands and abroad I now concentrate
on visual arts.
I find it exciting to move from visual theatre in
motion to capturing movement in images.
I am particularly interested in atmosphere,
colours and pattern of light and shadow that
we can find all around us in music, the wind,
landscape, myths, dreams and last but not least
in everyday life.
Sometimes images will come into being almost
by themselves, and then the real art is shaping
them.
